Hello and welcome to today's blog post! As many of you know, I am absolutely obsessed with literature. I adore the stories of old, the roughness of an old book, and the adventures that I get to be a part of through every heartfelt tale; literature is truly a gift. However, there's another story format that I am a complete nerd for—that, my friends, is film. I'm what you call a film buff, or at least I like to think I am. I'm obsessed with the magic and wonder of cinema; from the special effects to the IMDb stats, I love it all. One movie that has fanned the flame of my love for cinema is "The Fly," directed by David Cronenberg. It is also my all-time favorite 80's horror film—the best movie for October. Today I wanted to share the artwork behind the special effects from "The Fly"—because, you know, film is art too, and we must acknowledge the beauty, or in this case, the grotesqueness of it.
